CME Group, the world's largest and most diverse exchange, announced November volume averaged 13.0 million contracts per day, up 41 percent from November 2006, and second only to August in terms of highest monthly average daily volume during 2007.

Zero2IPO Research Center recently released "Zero2IPO-China Enterprises IPO Report Q3 2007." According to the report, 73 Chinese enterprises offered a combined US$21.86B on domestic and overseas markets. Specifically, 33 overseas shares raised US$7.47B. Meanwhile, the Chinese domestic market outstripped its overseas counterpart by attracting 40 enterprises with US$14.39B offered, creating a new quarterly record.

During October 2007, there were 19.1 million electronic order book trades with a combined value of £299.6 billion (€429.7 billion) on the cash markets of Borsa Italiana and the London Stock Exchange – more than on any other European exchange. The average daily number of order book trades increased 46 per cent to 832,156 while the average daily value traded rose 34 per cent to £13.0 billion (€18.7 billion).
